The ASU represents the community and disability sectors, local government workers, water and energy utilities, the airlines & travel industry, and white collar transport and clerical workers throughout Australia. Angus also sits on the National Executive of the ASU. As Assistant Secretary, Angus has responsibility in NSW and the ACT for the Community and Disability Sector Division of the ASU – the largest and fastest growing part of the union.
