Gillian has worked in the union movement for almost a decade in campaigns, communications and policy roles, previously at the Australian Manufacturing Workers’ Union (AMWU), Victorian Trades Hall Council (VTHC) and Australian Council of Trade Unions (ACTU). She is passionate about delivering real outcomes for working people by developing and winning cutting-edge campaigns, and driving innovative communications strategies. Her current role at the ASU involves directing national campaigns, managing national member engagement projects, and coordinating national communications across the union.
